String Quartet at Swallow Hill
13 February 2011
The event had over 80 attendees and raised over $4000 for the Lake Clifton Bushfire victims. It was a great entertaining evening and we plan that it be an annual event.

Thank you to Bill & Sue Knight and their family for staging the event at their property, to Sally Knight for managing the event and to all those who contributed prizes and auction items or assisted with the event.

Raising funds for the Spies family funerals.
The Rotary Club of Mandurah City raised funds to assist with funeral and other expenses arising from the tragic deaths of past club member Brett Spies, his son Ben and daughter Georgie in a tent fire in Mandurah in May 2011.
With contributions from several Rotary clubs, the public and the Mandurah Central Football Club, sufficient funds were raised to pay for the three funerals and a surplus which will be used for a memorial fund to assist young people play sport, particularly football.
