Rtn Vernon Stanford from RC Mandurah City has championed the gravity water project, that has brought fresh water to over 1,150 people in the villages of Kg Jambutan, Kg Muhang and Kg Bingolon. The funds provided the tanks, pipes and fittings.
The villagers, led by Vernon and Members of the RC Kota Kinabalu, provided the labour to install the piping and the head works at the dam.
The wonderful co-operation between Rotary Clubs has produced another successful Rotary Foundation Project from District 9460 this year.
